Rahma AlRafie is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in working obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, and related emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Rahma is trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) through British Isles DBT Training, with a particular focus on emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness-based skills.
She provides Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and extensively integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help individuals build psychological flexibility, reduce avoidance, and live more consistently with their values.
Her therapeutic approach also incorporates Compassion-Focused Therapy, as well as relational needs, supporting people in understanding emotional needs, patterns in relationships, self-criticism, shame, and difficulties with connection.
Rahma holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, where she focused on OCD and anxiety disorders. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Al-Ahliyya Amman University
