Psychologist

ACT/Mindfulness Personality

Bara Al-Qaisi is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in providing psychological support. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Jordan and a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Amman Ahliyya University, obtained in 2023.
He is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist by the Jordanian Ministry of Health and a member of the Jordanian Psychological Association (JPA).

His current professional experience includes working as a Clinical Psychologist at Mind Clinic since 2022.
He has enhanced his skills through specialized training, including Intensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Training of Trainers (TOT), Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Mr. Al-Qaisi specializes in a wide range of areas, including anxiety disorders (such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, and Phobias), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Personality Disorders (Borderline, Avoidant, and Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder), mood disorders (Bipolar Disorder and Depressive Disorders), trauma-related disorders, and addiction. He also provides support for attachment-related difficulties, emotion regulation skills, psychological resilience, time management, study skills, and self-esteem. His services target adolescents and adults.

Bara’s therapeutic approach is based on an integrative framework, combining different modalities tailored to the service recipient’s needs, with a primary focus on third-wave therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, and behavior therapy. Treatment plans are designed to be brief and focused or more comprehensive, depending on what is most appropriate for the service recipient. Mr. Al-Qaisi conducts therapy sessions in Arabic and provides therapeutic materials and worksheets in both Arabic and English.

Bara believes that every person has a unique story and experience, and that therapy should be tailored to everyone. He views therapy as an important journey that requires safety, respect, and genuine care, and that a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of effective therapy. His goal is to support lasting and meaningful change, not just short-term symptom relief, and he considers continuous learning and growth an essential part of his professional identity.
