Dr. Yazan Al-Halasa serves as Director of Medical Development at Mind Clinic, bringing extensive experience in mental health both locally and internationally. He earned his MD from the University of Jordan in 2019, and completed his specialty training in psychiatry at Al-Rashid Hospital in Jordan and at Pennine Care within the UK’s National Health Service (NHS). He holds GMC registration in the UK (2020), the Jordanian Board in Psychiatry (2024), Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) (2025), and the European Board in Psychiatry (2025).
As Director of Medical Development, Dr. Al-Halasa leads efforts to improve medical services and make them more comfortable for individuals, while ensuring they keep pace with the highest global standards always with the service recipient’s best interest in mind.
Dr. Al-Halasa practices general psychiatry with a special focus on addiction and psychosis. He works extensively with service recipients experiencing substance use disorders and psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia, relying on thorough, precise assessments and evidence-based treatment plans aimed at supporting long-term recovery and stability, while providing compassionate care tailored to each individual’s needs.
Dr. Al-Halasa provides services in both Arabic and English, and his professional experience across two different healthcare systems enriches his therapeutic perspective and enhances the quality of care he delivers.
