Dr. Mohammad Zahran is a board-certified psychiatrist and the Medical Director of Mind Clinic. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) in 2014 and went on to complete his Higher Specialty in Psychiatry at JUST in 2020. In 2021, he obtained the Jordanian Board in Psychiatry and is an active member of the Jordanian Psychiatric Association.
With extensive experience in adult psychiatry, Dr. Zahran specializes in comprehensive mental health assessments, ensuring that both psychiatric and medical conditions are thoroughly evaluated. His expertise includes diagnosing and managing mental health conditions while ruling out underlying medical issues that may present with psychiatric symptoms, such as strokes, Alzheimer’s disease, substance intoxication, and addiction.
Dr. Zahran also has a strong focus on addiction psychiatry, working with patients struggling with substance use disorders. He provides thorough diagnostic evaluations, facilitates safe detoxification, and develops personalized rehabilitation plans. Through collaboration with specialized addiction centers and rehabilitation programs, he ensures patients receive the most effective treatment, including medical interventions, psychotherapy, and long-term support.
Beyond individual patient care, Dr. Zahran works closely with families and caregivers to create a supportive and safe environment for vulnerable individuals. As a key decision-maker, he oversees critical interventions, including hospital admissions and urgent psychiatric care.
In his role as Medical Director, Dr. Zahran supervises junior medical staff and interns, providing guidance and education through seminars and case discussions. His leadership ensures that Mind Clinic upholds the highest standards of psychiatric care.
Dr. Mohammad Zahran’s roles at Mind Clinic:
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, and Neurocognitive disorders.
• Work with patients to create comprehensive treatment plans, including psychotherapy and medication management.
• Provide consultations and guidance to families regarding mental health care.
• Oversee and mentor junior doctors and other healthcare professionals within the clinic.
• Manage and ensure the quality of care provided in all psychiatric services.
